Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably Master's degree in Computer Science
4-8 years' experience with multiple programming technologies, including Java, XML/XSLT/WSDL, Spring/Hibernate, Web Services.
Experience analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using J2EE technologies or related technologies
2-4 years' experience with Scrum, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing, User Acceptance Testing.
Key technology experience in areas such as JavaScript, HTML5, tomcat etc.
Expert in database driven web applications using My SQL
Expert in using and managing change management tools, Subversion, Jira etc.
Experience with a wide variety of testing tools and techniques, ex. JUnit.
Desirable - experience working with content management systems, SEO, SEM, Google Analytics,
Job Functions:
Design and develop web applications for consumer facing applications.
Support the design and planning of architecture to support goals of the project.
Assist development teams in activities such as load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Utilizes a working knowledge of J2EE and Java development to troubleshoot technical issues (error messages, bugs with the software, availability).
Proactively communicates with the development, QA teams and management to anticipate configuration management issues/processes.
Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes.
Contributes to an atmosphere of cross-functional teamwork within the organizations Agile project lifecycle.

Title: Java Developer
Location: E. Los Angeles, CA
Type / Term: Contract – 6 mo. + possible extension
Number of positions: 3

Description:
Primary responsibility for Java server-side development including new feature development and upgrades
Responsible for definition, design and development of new features and services that will be integrated into our existing architecture
Skills Required:
5+ years Java / J2EE Development Experience
5+ years building server side applications using Java Servlets
5+ years experience with MySQL, including some schema, index, and sql design
Expert in JavaScript, Ajax, HTML, CSS, Apache Tomcat and similar Servlet containers
Experience writing high performance, highly scalable systems
Able to write high quality code quickly
Must have Excellent verbal and written communication skills
BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
